All About Bows

Safety

All bows made by Le Petite Paw Boutique are made with your dogs safety in mind. Each bow is completely hand sewn using heavy duty button and craft thread. All embellishments are securely sewn into place. There is no wire, wire ribbon, or toxic materials used in the creation of your top knot bows.

Although these bows are made with every effort for the safety of your dog, caution should always be used anytime there is a small object near your dog. Any small item can become a choking hazard! Close supervision is always advised while your pet is wearing any top knot bow. You should determine your the suitability of our bows for your pet. Le Petite Paw Boutique cannot be held liable for the use of our products.

Bow Size

The number prior to the style # of the bow, is the bow size. For example 3/8, 5/8, 7/8 are all numbers that correspond to the width of the ribbon used to make your topknot bow.

Embellishments

All embellishments used on my topknot bows are different and unique. The material will be listed for each bow's embellishment. Embellishments may be listed as Swarovski, Crystal, Vintage, Plastic Button, Metal Plated, ect. Any embellishment can be changed at your discretion. I welcome ALL requests and custom orders!!! Please note that more expensive centers may slightly raise the final cost of your top knot bow.

Custom Bow Orders

Custom Bow Orders are additional at NO extra charge to you! I am happy to design a custom work of art for your special pup! I have many styles of ribbon available and can get most anything you would request. Want an embellishment you don't see? Email me and I will be happy to let you know if I have what you are looking for, or if I can get what you are seeking!

Barrettes or Bands?

I will attach a barrette at an additional charge of .75 to your topknot bow at your request.

There is more risk to adding a barrette to your topknot bow. Latex bands offer the lowest choking hazard.

Please consider the risk in adding a barrette to your topknot bow before placing an order.

Topknot bows with barrettes differ from topknot bows w/latex bands in the following ways:

Barrettes are attached to your bow by using a low temp glue gun w/non toxic craft glue. Barrettes MAY come unglued after repeated use, so please keep this in mind.
Bows attached to barrettes may appear flatter and wider than bows made with latex bands attached. Please keep this in mind when purchasing.
Some bows in smaller size 3/8, 5/8 are not able to be added to a barrette. Please contact me with questions regarding size if you are confused.
